Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

ScreenshotToPDF is built to do its job without ever seeing your files. Image-to-PDF conversion, cropping, reordering, and compression all run locally in your browser using JavaScript. Your images are never uploaded to any server.

What we collect

Nothing. We do not require an account, we do not set tracking cookies, and we do not store your screenshots or generated PDFs. Files you add stay in your browser's memory and are discarded when you close or reload the page.

Optional OCR

The optional "Extract Text (OCR)" feature downloads the open-source Tesseract engine and language data from a public CDN so it can run in your browser. The recognition itself happens locally — your images are not sent anywhere. Using this feature simply requires a network connection to fetch the engine the first time.

Third-party services

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, and the OCR engine is loaded from jsDelivr. These providers may receive standard request metadata (such as your IP address) when their resources are fetched, as is normal for any website. We do not share any of your content with them.

Changes

If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above will change with it. Continued use of the site means you accept the current version.
